Fishing for Gravel, a new mini-LP from Paraflow, the dublin-born-amsterdam-based music producer, known more intimately to his loved ones as Niall Rogers. This is his first solo offering but he is no stranger to the world of music. Since relocating to Amsterdam 8 years ago Rogers has built a reputation as a respected music supervisor (putting music to TV ads and films) while working on various musical endeavours in his OOO time such as dream pop/shoegaze project Officer John (the new EP on Wah Wah Wino is worth a check).

The heavy influences of EBM and Dub is how we landed ourselves here though, Paraflow’s shoveling into the earth’s core with ‘Fishing for Gravel’ is a trek into terraforming drum heavy synthesis. Granular mechanics and thorough mid tempo chugfare coloured with moments of uplifting bliss are the operation here. 7 tracks that will get you spiritually lost, deep into the earth’s crust while trying to claw yourself out of an unmarked grave. The package comes with a rugged bass heavy remix by Superconscious Record very own FIO.
