Edward - Familiar Feeling

Format : 12"

Label : Giegling

Catalog # : Giegling31

Genre : House Techno

Edward returns to Giegling with Familiar Feeling, a five-track 12″ moving between dancefloor warmth and introspective restraint. ‘Silence’ and ‘Estragon’ open the record before the shorter interlude ‘This Way Please’ leads into the title track on the B-side, with ‘Woup’ closing the release. Throughout, Edward creates atmosphere with carefully chosen elements while maintaining a strong sense of groove.

Musically, Familiar Feeling moves through Minimal and Tech House, shaped by organic basslines, understated rhythms and warm analog textures. Sparse percussion and spacious arrangements alternate with more compact, driving passages, reflecting Giegling’s characteristic focus on subtle emotion rather than immediate impact.

A longtime member of the Giegling family, Edward has consistently explored the space between Ambient, Minimal and melodic electronic music, an approach that can also be heard throughout Familiar Feeling.
